Warm Mexican Sand walls and Westhighland White details give this Wimauma home a clear, coordinated exterior palette. Our exterior painting work reached beyond the main walls to the entranceway, patio, soffits, fascia, gutters, front door, and two garage doors.

Project Overview

The color placement ties together a wide range of exterior surfaces. Sherwin-Williams Mexican Sand was used on the body walls and gutters running down the walls, while Westhighland White was used on the trim, fascia, remaining gutters, front door, and both garage doors. The entranceway and patio walls were repainted, too, so the update extended around the home rather than stopping at its most visible side.

Before painting, our team pressure washed the exterior, filled settlement cracks, and applied sealer. We also worked around the perimeter where grass, dirt, or rocks met the walls. Windows, soffit vents, and hurricane shutters received attention during the painting process. It’s the kind of exterior project where the smaller areas matter as much as the broad walls: each one contributes to how the finished home reads as a whole.

Our Approach

Repairs and Protection Before Paint

We started with the surfaces beneath the finish: pressure washing, filling settlement cracks, applying sealer, and making room to paint along the perimeter. Around the details, our team taped and covered windows, covered soffit vents, and papered hurricane shutters. That attention helped us work through broad wall areas and smaller features without treating the doors, trim, and edges as afterthoughts. The two-color scheme called for care wherever the warm body color met the white details.

Project Result

The finished exterior pairs Mexican Sand walls with Westhighland White trim, fascia, doors, and most gutters. With the entranceway, patio walls, soffits, and perimeter addressed as part of the work, the colors carry across the home’s varied surfaces.
