Project Overview

The body walls and trim were the main painting areas on this Sun City Center home. Before painting, our team pressure washed the exterior, filled settlement cracks with a concrete and masonry patch, and applied an exterior sealer. Those steps gave attention to the wall surfaces beneath the new finish, rather than treating painting as a standalone task.

The details at the edges mattered, too. We prepared along the home’s perimeter where grass, dirt, or rocks can meet the walls, and protected the windows with plastic and tape for straight paint lines. Sherwin-Williams exterior paint was used on the body walls and trim. Together, the surface repairs, broad wall areas, and narrower trim show the range of detail involved in a full exterior repaint.

Our Approach

Repairs and Edgework Before Painting

We handled this repaint in stages: washing the exterior, filling settlement cracks, applying sealer, and then painting the body walls and trim. Our team also worked along the perimeter so the paint could reach below the adjacent grass, dirt, or rocks. Around the windows, plastic protection and taped panes helped us give the paint lines the same attention as the larger wall areas. It’s an approach that accounts for both broad surfaces and the places where different surfaces meet.
